Ledbury Community Garden
We have always wanted to set up a new community garden in Ledbury, which is our home and our base. Many of Haygrove’s workers are based in Ledbury and enthusiasm for a local project is high. Finding a site has not been easy, so we decided to start working in the Ledbury area to forge links with the local community and establish an accessible tabletop gardening group at local business the Nest. Following the success of this group we moved to Leadon Bank in Ledbury, and we hope that from this venture we will inspire and encourage people in the Ledbury area to join us on our quest to provide an amazing new community garden, locally.
Our tabletop gardening group is held on Thursdays, 10:30-12:00 at Leadon Bank, Orchard Lane, Ledbury HR8 1BY.

Newent Woodland Walk
Newent in Gloucestershire is the site of our second new project. Bordering the Ell Brook is a beautiful meadow, a wildlife haven on the edge of this historic Gloucestershire town. We will be managing the site for wildlife and conservation, hosting organised visits from schools and community groups. Working with community partners in Newent we will be providing activities to include mindfulness walks, bug trails, pond dipping, and wildlife walks – and that’s just the start!
