Ross Family Hub

Ross Family Hub

Our Family Hub in Ross-on-Wye Community Garden builds on the work that we do with local schools. Our Children and Young People’s Worker helps vulnerable families by providing support at an early stage, The project provides drop-in services, events for children and families, advice, support and signposting to other services.

Being out in the garden is beneficial to children and their families and carers. Young visitors and their families can experience first-hand how to grow and nurture plants to become the food that we eat, and how wildlife in the garden such as bees and butterflies helps to provide a healthy environment for plants to grow. We also use natural resources available in the garden in our art and craft activities.

Ross Family Drop-in

All families are welcome to join our free Family Drop-in every Tuesday from 3:30 ’til 5pm. With hot drinks available for adults, families can learn and play together, through our weekly themed gardening and craft activities, or just by playing in our specially designed children’s garden area.
